Tracking 5 AI enginesfor agencies and brands

Find the AI answers that cite your competitors, not you.

CiteGaps asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview the questions your buyers ask, every week. It shows who gets named, which pages get cited, and drafts the content that earns you a place in the answer.

What you get

What CiteGaps does each week.

Measure where you stand, see what is missing, and get a first draft of the fix. No dashboards to build, no prompts to run by hand.

Visibility tracking

Know where you stand in every engine.

Each week CiteGaps asks your 25 to 100 buyer questions on every engine in your plan, then records which brands were named, in what order, and which pages were cited.

Gap recommendations

See which gaps cost you the answer.

A review site keeps getting cited and you are not listed. A Reddit thread names your competitors and not you. A question never mentions you at all. Each gap becomes a recommendation, with the answers that triggered it.

Drafts

Get a first draft of the fix.

Turn a recommendation into an FAQ page, a comparison page, an llms.txt file, directory profile text or an outreach email. Drafts are Markdown you copy, edit and publish yourself.

From gap to fix

From a missing mention to a page that fixes it.

One question, followed through the product.

An answer that names everyone but you.

Each week CiteGaps asks your questions on every engine and keeps the full answer, the brands it named in order, and the sources it cited.

The weekly loop

How a week works.

Weekly answers from the engines your buyers use.

Add your brand, website and three to five competitors. CiteGaps suggests 50 buyer-intent questions in your language; you keep the ones that matter and add your own.

  1. Questions you approve. Edit, delete or add before anything is collected.
  2. Answers every Monday. Each question is asked on each engine in your plan, in your chosen country.
  3. Scores you can compare. Visibility share, citation share and average position, per engine and per competitor, with the change from last week.

Recommendations backed by the answers themselves.

Every recommendation links to the AI answers that triggered it, so you can check the evidence before you spend time on the fix.

  1. Missing profiles. Review and directory sites that engines cite, where you have no page.
  2. Missing pages. Questions where no engine mentions you in any answer.
  3. Competitor threads and weak sentiment. Reddit and Quora threads that name competitors but not you, and answers that describe you poorly.

A weekly PDF you can forward as it is.

Each Monday the report lands in your inbox and stays linked from the dashboard. On the Agency plan it carries your agency's logo and colour.

  1. Score summary. This week against last week, with a per-engine chart.
  2. What moved. The ten questions that changed most, plus the competitors table.
  3. What to do next. The most cited sources and the open recommendations.

Your weekly report

A weekly report you can send to clients.

Every Monday each workspace gets a PDF by email, also linked from the dashboard. On the Agency plan it carries your logo and colour.

  • Cover with your agency's branding
  • Score summary with changes from last week
  • Per-engine chart and the ten questions that moved most
  • Competitors table and the most cited sources
  • Open recommendations, with evidence

Which AI engines does CiteGaps track?

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview. The 7-day trial covers ChatGPT and Gemini, Lite covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overview, and Starter and Agency cover all 5.

Where do the answers come from?

Answers are collected through a third-party answer data provider that asks each engine your questions the way a person would, in the country you choose. We store the full answer text and the sources it cites, then extract the brands it named, their order and the tone of each mention.

How often is the data updated?

Tracking is weekly. Every Monday morning CiteGaps collects new answers for every active workspace, recomputes the scores, refreshes recommendations and emails the weekly PDF report.

Why might an answer differ from what I see in ChatGPT?

AI answers vary between sessions, accounts, locations and small changes in wording. CiteGaps treats every answer as a sample and reports the share of answers that mention you across many questions, which is a far steadier signal than any single chat.

Can CiteGaps guarantee that AI assistants will recommend my brand?

No. Nobody controls what an AI engine says. CiteGaps shows where you are missing, why, and drafts the content most likely to help, such as directory profiles, comparison pages and FAQ pages. Publishing and promotion are up to you.

Is CiteGaps built for agencies?

Yes. The Agency plan includes 5 client workspaces, extra workspaces at $29 a month each, and weekly PDF reports with your own logo and colour.

Do I need a card to start the trial?

No. The trial runs for 7 days without a card. When it ends, your dashboard stays readable and collection pauses until you choose a plan.
